How do AR games differ from VR games?
AR games are those that integrate virtual content within the user’s immediate environment unlike a VR game that has a complete virtual world, with which the gamer interacts in some way.
The hardware required for AR games is not expensive as well, in most cases, an AR capable smartphone is sufficient. The hardware requirement for a VR game is generally slightly expensive compared to AR.
What is the difference between a standalone VR device and a PC VR?
A standalone VR headset is a device that is portable, and has its own processor, memory, and display. It is capable of running VR applications without any additional hardware.
A PC VR is a device that emulates a display unit, but needs to be connected to a PC which acts as the processor. Such a device is capable of running heavy duty and graphic intensive applications.
